i've been practicing some aspect of internet marketing everyday for going on 15 years now. i started out designing simple websites while working my way through design school and ended up as a jr web designer at first marketing group (orlando advertising agency - now chisano marketing group) in longwood, fl just north of orlando.
8 years, and a ton of blood, sweat and tears later i single-handedly was responsible for the growth of the advertising agency's internet department (orlando's first advertising agency with full service, in-house, internet marketing department) during my tenure with the company in longwood, fl. i had the great privilidge of working alongside some very smart and talented young prgrammers and a few incredible marketing pro's (inside the agency and clients themselves) as well. for me (designer/programmer/marketer) growing up in an orlando ad agency i feel i have a unique perspective and an overall diffirent outlook on internet marketing then most typical web designers in working in boutique shops throughout orlando.
just because you build it does't mean anyone’s coming and thats one thing you can’t hide from. just because you design it and it rotates 12 times (all flashy) doesn’t mean any more people are going to click on it (much less convert to a sale). i trust my experience and my love for what i do and that is guaranteed to resonate throughout every project i'm lucky enough to be a part of.
